This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Procurement Manager to join the management team of a leading public sector organisation and assist in the development of its' supply chain and the ongoing management and support of supply contracts. As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the sourcing, development and launching of new and procurement processes into the business to enhance fiscal performance whilst negotiating and implementing all supplier commercial terms and developing and managing product category plans and financial goals. Other key responsibilities will include analysing supplier costs and pricing plans working closely with the departmental and maintaining full supplier integrity through supplier T&C’s and accreditation. You will be a confident Procurement Manager with a track record of working within a Public sector environment, possess a thorough understanding of OJEU principals and demonstrable experience of effectively communicating with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. Any experience on centralising a procurement function and managing a large multi site spend would be a distinct advantage. Ideally CIPS qualified, you will be an accomplished negotiator, with the ability to achieve positive and commercially beneficial outcomes for clients, suppliers and the the business alike whilst maintaining healthy financial controls
