A growing network solutions provider is seeking Cabling Engineers, ranging from Junior to Senior Level Roles. The salaries will range between £24,085 and £34,261, with an additional average of £4,000 per year for travel time. There is also an option for overtime.
The company partners with a rapidly expanding network infrastructure business that provides advanced network solutions to SME and mid-size commercial markets. Newly created roles for fibre and cabling engineers are available due to unprecedented growth.
You will work within a multidisciplinary operations team with a range of clients across the UK, providing Network Installation services to new and existing customers across various vertical markets. The role requires working on your initiative, unsupervised, and to tight deadlines, both individually and as part of a team. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff and customers are essential.
Responsibilities:- Structured Cabling related installations - Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, telephony and fibre optics.
- Assume a lead role if required on multi-personnel installations.
- Preparation and understanding of site-specific Risk Assessments, as required.
- Completion of all project-related engineer’s documentation, as required.
- Be the point of contact and liaison with customers during installation when assuming a lead role.
- Experience and understanding of structured network cabling and installation.
- Flexibility of working hours and travelling.
- Full and valid UK driving license.
- Aim2Learn Certification (Desirable).
- City & Guilds Fibre Optic Cabling in an Internal Environment or equivalent (Desirable).
- City & Guilds Fibre Optic Cabling in an External Environment or equivalent (Desirable).
- City & Guilds Copper Cabling in an Internal Environment or equivalent (Desirable).
