My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Machine Tool Service Engineer. What’s on offer: * 4 ½ day week when office based- enjoy your long weekend! * Up to £60k potential earnings * Overseas international travel to premium clients in Europe, USA, and China * Excellent pension scheme and life assurance * Premium rates for outworking and travel * Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: * Part of the service team dealing with various clients, providing first class customer service * Perform service and repairs on various Milling and Grinding machines. * Replacement of gears and bearings * Replacement of cutters and grinding spindles * Involved in hydraulic and pneumatic installations. * Promote the business spare parts and technical service department to existing and potential new clients. * Only provide service and repair on the company machines designed and built by them, allowing an in-depth understanding of products and repair processes About you: * A positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to travel overseas when required. * Experience of machine tool service, repair, and upgrades * Ability to diagnose problems and deliver practical engineering solutions. * Familiarity and knowledge of multi axis, metal cutting machinery. * Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. * Confidence of CNC controls and electrics would be an advantage.
