As a project manager in the Solar Industry, you’re probably already focused on driving the future of energy to greener, cleaner technology. Now you’re potentially on the lookout for a new role. How about taking your experience to work for an organization that is driving the design, installation, and maintenance of Solar Panels for Businesses?
A first-class provider of Renewable Energy solutions, they have built their business around commercial rooftop solar projects, covering from 60kw at the lowest to 1MW+ at the highest.
They’re continuing to see amazing growth, with large-scale projects in the future.
They’re also heavily investing in large-scale battery storage, battery advancements/optimization, as well as Smart Grid technology solutions, so this is an incredibly exciting time to join as they take on new projects and continue to expand.
They are now looking for a Project Manager with PV experience to join them on their journey as they continue their mission to help institutions adopt green energy.
You will be responsible for ensuring installation projects are delivered on time, at the right quality, procuring equipment/materials, and working with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Projects generally cover the southwest, through the midlands up to Manchester. There is a mixture of site visits and home working, and they have an office if you’d like to work from there.
Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractors and on-site staff, ensuring HSE and RAMs compliance.
- Ensure design specifications are followed and fit for purpose.
Experience:
- Experience working on commercial solar installations either as a Project Manager or a Site Manager.
- Strong understanding of Solar technologies.
- Ideally some understanding of design.
