Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be a key member of the mechanical team, responsible for the design and development of electric motor and drive system components. You will work on a variety of projects, focusing on CAD design, material selection, technical drawings, and simulation analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components for electric motors and drive systems.
- Create 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings with correct tolerances and GD&T.
- Conduct material selection, FEA design studies, and root cause analysis.
- Support motor simulations and testing to validate designs.
- Ensure compliance with UKCA, CE, and international standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvements and innovation in product design.
- Travel overseas as required to support projects.
