We have partnered with an award-winning integrated sports and entertainment agency to find their next brilliantly inspiring Creative Director, who really knows how to earn fame!

In this role, you’ll be working directly into their founder and will be working closely with the best of the best, injecting your creative brilliance and flair into their client accounts and new business pitches. You’ll not only nail a brief, but do so with an obsessive focus on earning fame for clients in an ever-evolving world of sports and entertainment.

You’ll be someone who knows what it takes for brands to spark genuine conversations in the real world and fuel fandoms. Someone with a razor-sharp instinct for what will land in culture, the creative foresight to know what hot looks like before it hits the mainstream and a masterful ability to orchestrate fame.

This is not a job for someone who enjoys directing from the sidelines. You’ll get a high from making stuff happen, and will be hands-on, leading from the front across concept development, creative direction, craft, and delivery.

You’ll also play a key role in nurturing a creative culture across the agency and building an inspiring network of collaborators, from designers to creatives and creators.

If you’re an award-winning creative leader, with a knack for creating ideas that travel and a real love for the world of sport and entertainment, this could be the one for you!

Your Mission:

  • Lead the charge in making this agency known in the industry for truly bold, fame-driving work.
  • Lead and champion creative excellence across the agency’s sport and entertainment client portfolio.
  • Develop bold creative platforms and campaigns, from big brand platforms through to channel-specific activations.
  • Working in collaboration with new business, strategy and client services, you'll play a pivotal role in winning new business and delivering ideas that clients fall in love with instantly.
  • Build and nurture a network of creative collaborators to enable the agency to remain agile whilst punching above its weight.
  • Foster a progressive creative culture within the agency, nurturing talent, curiosity, and creative bravery at all levels.

Your Story:

  • You have around 10-12 years relevant or transferable experience leading creative teams – ideally within PR or social agencies.
  • Telling compelling stories from unexpected angles is your jam. You have a sharp instinct for shaping stories that travel and earn fame for brands and the portfolio to back this up.
  • You are dialed into what is driving current sports fandom and how that manifests in culture. Most likely, you are a sports fan yourself.
  • You know internet culture and are familiar with the social, influencer and creator landscapes.
  • Your presentation skills are top notch, both in the way you sell ideas in decks and in rooms.
  • You care more about getting to the right creative solution than your ego.
  • You embrace being a hands-on leader and have the skills versatility and the attitude to comfortably juggle high-level conceptual thinking and the day to day realities of making ideas happen.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to help shape the future vision of the agency and the impact they have on their clients, fans and culture.

Please apply here and also email hello@jojosephcreative.com with your portfolio, highlighting your relevant experience that makes you perfect for this role. Thanks!
