Engineering Manager Andover Permanent Up to £60,000Engineering Manager required by highly successful and market leading manufacturing company based in Andover. The successful Engineering Manager will play a key role in the business providing leadership to the Engineering Team whilst ensuring that new products are introduced and manufactured cost effectively.Main Duties – Engineering ManagerLeading and managing the Engineering team. Overseeing the new product introduction process. Liaising with internal departments and troubleshooting production issues. New product development of electronic and mechanical products and software, working from specifications. Responsibility for project planning and delivery. Supporting with design improvements and obsolescence management Ensuring compliance with industry standards. Providing technical product support to internal and external customers.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Engineering ManagerEducated to HND or equivalent in an Electronic, Computer Science or Mechanical engineering discipline. Proven experience in product development within a manufacturing environment. Excellent problem solving skills. Track record of delivering complex projects on time and to specification. Highly organised and able to work to deadlines.
