As the Customer Marketing Lead, you will be at the heart of all customer campaigns, content and events. This is a hands-on collaborative role working with the Customer Excellence, Account Management, Portfolio, SD Worx Academy and PALs Teams. Putting the customer voice first, you will be responsible for our customer marketing strategy:

  • Develop and execute the annual customer marketing plan

  • Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns

  • Drive customer advocacy

  • Cross-team collaboration, * Define the annual customer marketing plan, objectives, and goals.

  • Working with the Customer Excellence + Account Management sales teams, you will be responsible for planning strategic campaigns to engage and retain customers, promote loyalty and advocacy, and drive revenue growth.

  • Identify and execute cross-sell campaign for our Talent, Workforce Management, SD Worx Academy and consultancy offerings.

  • Create email promotions, social media adverts, presentations, and product information designed specifically for our customer base.

  • Enhance engagement among the existing customer base by promoting the full SD Worx suite of offerings, services, and the latest product features and releases.

  • Own our testimonial and case study library, liaising with the Central Marketing team to update the Customer Story section of our website and ensuring we have a continuous pipeline of customer references.

  • Ensure effective management and tracking of customer reference status, preferences, activities, and measurable impact.

  • Increase the number of actively engaged customer references to drive advocacy and visibility in the marketplace.

  • Support the growth of customer advisory boards, user groups, and broader customer communities for SD Worx.

  • Identify speaking opportunities, events, media interviews and blogs where we can highlight customer stories and integrate these into the overall customer marketing strategy.

  • Support planning, management, and delivery of virtual and physical events, including but not limited to webinars, 3rd party trade shows/conferences and owned events for our customers.

  • Align with internal account teams to become a strategic resource to them, showing how customer advocacy can help deepen and broaden relationships with their accounts.

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of customer advocacy initiatives and monitor and analyse customer feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Attend customer meetings and events and be the voice of the customer back into the organisation.

  • Strong experience in customer marketing or advocacy in a Tech, HR, or B2B SaaS environment.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing customer reference and advocacy programs.

  • Experience in the development and execution of integrated campaigns to support the upsell/cross-sell of products to an existing customer base.

  • Strong content marketing skills with exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Strategic thinking ability and a proactive attitude, comfortable with change and managing multiple projects and stakeholders.

  • Passionate about relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Focused on amplifying customer stories across platforms (social, web).

  • Marketing experience in a B2B/sales environment – experience within the IT/Software industry is desirable.

  • Demonstrable experience of campaign execution.

  • Experience using email service provider (Pardot or equivalent) to manage mailing campaigns.

  • Aptitude for working independently and unsupervised but be a team player.

  • Very strong verbal and written communication/proof reading skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
