POS Business Analyst
We are looking for a Business Analyst (Point of Sale) to join our IT team here at Harrods. You will play a pivotal role in defining and maintaining business processes and functions supported by our suite of POS applications.

About The Role
As the Business Analyst (POS), you will be responsible for delivering a consistent, precise, and detailed set of business requirements for POS projects and initiatives: analysing and documenting business requirements for key processes and producing the prerequisite Harrods and POS supplier documentation.

You will also:

  1. Identify and improve governance standards around POS for business analysis processes and deliverables.
  2. Deliver business value throughout the entire project lifecycle and beyond, ensuring that the solutions implemented align with business objectives.
  3. Manage the POS backlog across the various POS applications; and track the agreed priorities with business stakeholders in conjunction with the Retail Systems Manager and Business Relationship Manager.

About You
As one of our Business Analysts, your enthusiasm for the business analysis discipline, along with your resilience under pressure and drive for continuous improvement are essential traits. Your focus will be on delivering business value throughout the entire project lifecycle and beyond, ensuring that the solutions implemented align with business objectives.

You will also have the following:

  1. Proficiency in POS software and hardware, including troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  2. Strong understanding of the integration of POS systems with other business processes.
  3. Awareness of PCIDSS, and GDPR for payment & customer data privacy compliance.
  4. Previous experience in business analysis within POS and retail environment.
