Job Title: Carers Participation Coordinator

Location: Ty Findlay, Prince of Wales Road, Swansea, SA12EX

Hours: 14 hrs per week. Some out of hours work may be required, for which time off in lieu will be given.

Salary: £12.77 an hour

Annual Leave: 26 days pro rata and customary bank holidays

Travel Expenses: 45p per mile

Closing Date for Applications: 24th February

Responsibilities:

  1. Encouraging carers to be involved in various opportunities to develop new services and evaluate existing services.
  2. Identifying gaps in service provision through participation with carers.
  3. Collaborating with Swansea Carers Centre management to meet identified needs.
  4. Leading efforts to assess carer satisfaction with the support received and ensuring feedback is integrated into planning and development.

Accountability: To the CEO and Board of Trustees of Swansea Carers Centre.
