Anderson Knight is recruiting a Raw Materials Leader for one of our clients within the food manufacturing industry. As the Raw Materials Leader, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the quality and safety of all raw materials used in our production process. You’ll work closely with suppliers, procurement teams, and the production line to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic professional with a passion for food safety and quality management. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the raw materials supply chain to ensure food safety compliance across all suppliers. * Conduct regular audits and quality checks on raw materials to meet industry standards. * Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any quality or safety concerns, implementing corrective actions where necessary. * Ensure that all raw materials meet both company and regulatory requirements, including HACCP, BRC, and other relevant food safety certifications. * Work closely with the procurement team to source new materials that align with the company’s sustainability and safety goals. * Develop and maintain documentation and records for compliance audits. * Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of food safety excellence. Key Requirements: * Food Safety qualifications (e.g., HACCP, Level 3 Food Safety, or equivalent). * Proven experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, particularly in managing raw materials. * Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., BRC, ISO 22000). * Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. * Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
