An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Merton’s newly formed Public Realm directorate as Parks Project Officer.
The role will support the Parks Development Manager Technical to design, consult on, and manage a range of diverse investment and improvement projects within Merton’s much-loved parks and open spaces, including projects like Playground Upgrades, Sport and Outdoor Gyms, and Landscape Improvement.
The successful candidate will possess effective communication skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders and Friends of Parks Groups. You will have had some experience in project planning, risk management, reporting, and securing funding.
