Technology Specialist Recruitment Consultant – Software Development Team Role: Agile Delivery Lead Location: Hybrid (London office, 1 day per week) Overview: I am working with a client who is looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Lead (ADL) to join their IT Services team, responsible for delivering and maintaining critical infrastructure services across the global business. In this role, the ADL will coordinate the day-to-day activities of squads within the IT Services value streams. The position is a hybrid role that combines coaching responsibilities, guiding squads in Agile practices and continuous improvement, while also taking ownership of delivery for specific initiatives or projects. Ideal candidates will have a background in Agile delivery or project management, with experience in infrastructure engineering and a desire to transition into a delivery-focused role. Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end delivery for assigned initiatives or projects, including financial management, spend reconciliation, and resource balancing. Direct involvement in delivering infrastructure or technical projects is essential. Guide and support cross-functional squads, ensuring they follow Agile values, principles, and practices to deliver business value. Utilise JIRA boards to manage and prioritise the backlog, actively participating in the change delivery process. Assist squads in meeting their commitments, removing impediments, and resolving dependencies. Escalate issues as necessary and ensure the team takes corrective actions when required. Provide appropriate governance and oversight for assigned initiatives or projects. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing. Requirements and Experience: At least 3 years of experience in IT or infrastructure functions. Strong infrastructure systems experience is crucial to understanding and executing initiatives effectively. Practical experience working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, or a solid foundational knowledge of these approaches. Previous experience in engineering or project management/delivery is essential. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Ability to work independently, proactively, and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in platform services, platform engineering, cloud, or infrastructure teams is advantageous. Additional Information: Applicants outside the UK cannot be considered as the company is unable to offer visa sponsorship. 20% additional bonus on top of basic salary.
