We are a dynamic local charity supporting over 1400 blind and visually impaired children and adults across Berkshire. We have an ethos of challenging expectations of what blind and visually impaired people can achieve, both society’s and their own. We aim to walk alongside them whenever they need us.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to apply for the role of Office Manager. The Office Manager is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the charity. This includes administration and premise management responsibilities. We are a small, social, and supportive staff team who would be thrilled to have you join us!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations.
- Manage premises and ensure a conducive work environment.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office for various tasks.
- Handle procurement processes efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with staff, stakeholders, and clients.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and administration skills.
- Ability to travel within the Thames Valley area.
- Flexible approach to the hours worked.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure with barred list checks required.
