A fantastic opportunity has arisen to apply for the role of Volunteering Co-ordinator. This role has been developed to provide management and support of the charity’s volunteers, as part of the volunteer department and together with our Head of Projects and Volunteering. The role holder will focus on the safe recruitment, management, development, training, and recognition of our volunteers.

The charity has in excess of 380 volunteers, who volunteer across Berkshire. The department co-ordinates an internal project; Realeyes, a project aimed at encouraging independence through volunteer guides. This role involves assisting in the day to day running of this project.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be confident enough to represent Berkshire Vision at events.

To apply you must be able to travel within the Thames Valley area and have a flexible approach to the hours worked.

The successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS disclosure with barred list checks.
