Temporary Rough Sleeper Prevention Worker / Assertive Outreach Worker Location: Exeter Salary: Approx. £26,000 per annum Hours: 06:00 – 13:30, Monday to Saturday availability required Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness? This rewarding temporary opportunity offers the chance to support rough sleepers and help them access vital services. The Role: As a Rough Sleeper Prevention Worker, you will: Conduct early morning outreach sessions across the Exeter area. Work alongside experienced staff to engage with rough sleepers and offer support. Assist individuals in securing safe, off-street placements. Respond to Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) situations at short notice. What\’s in It for You? A fulfilling role helping vulnerable individuals transition off the streets.
