Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager required for a distributor of CNC machine tools. The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and managing key accounts across the East of England, with a focus on CNC machine tool and capital equipment sales. You will provide technical solutions and develop strong, lasting relationships with customers.

The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager will be based remotely and live in a desirable location such as East Anglia, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire or other location with easy access to the East of England. You will ideally have a mechanical engineering background and prior experience selling machine tools, capital equipment, or other mechanical products used in precision engineering. This role will suit someone who has a background managing a long sales process due to the nature of machine tool and capital equipment sales.

  • Provide technical solutions and develop strong, lasting relationships with customers
  • Attend exhibitions to promote products and network with new prospects
  • Generate new sales leads and strategically act on them to secure new business
  • Reporting to the Sales Director
  • Remote position covering the East of England
  • Live in a desirable location to cover the East of England such as East Anglia, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire or other location with good access to the East of England

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager and prior experience selling machine tools or capital equipment
  • Prior experience managing a long sales process will be advantageous
  • Live in a desirable location to cover the East of England
