Commercial ManagerAlexander Steele are working on an exclusive basis with a globally successful food manufacturer. The business supply high quality products in both Retail & Food Service channels, working in partnership with some of the biggest names in the industry. On OfferUp to £75k + car allow + bonus + benefits Job Summary: Managing existing business and hunting new business. Mainly focusing on global quick service restaurant customers, but also private label with major retailers. The role sist on the Senior Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels to understand their needs and ensure exemplary customer satisfactionEnsure tracking and delivery of businesses relevant short and long-term business goals and objectives.Collaborate with internal teams including Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement R&D, and QA to ensure seamless delivery of assured supply, FSQA, financial, project and performance goals.Gain a thorough understanding of customer pricing mechanisms and key industry cost drivers to support customer pricing negotiations.In depth business knowledge to enable internal leadership of customer driven projects ensuring provision of accurate data to finance for calculation and tracking of results.Drive initiatives to ensure assured supply, adherence to FSQA standards, cost savings, and collaborative goals.Continuous driving of new product opportunities to drive incremental sales by working closely with customers’ and internal teams to develop and launch new products that meet customer needs.Provide exemplary customer management and service support through building and maintaining both customer and internal relationships, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Prepare and present reports on account performance, internal and external customer presentations, ad hoc customer requests for informationWork with Supply Chain to ensure an accurate forecast and capacity models are maintained, ensuring robust contingencies are in place during key seasonal periods of the trading calendar.Collaborate and coordinate on Global Accounts with other European partners.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experienceProven experience in account management, preferably with large commercial foodservice accountsCommercial baking knowledge is desiredStrong understanding of supply chain, FSQA, and product development processesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesThe role is hybrid working. WFH days and occasional travel to site and customers.
