Digital Content Executive, Penguin Random House Children’s (12-month FTC)

Do you have experience in facilitating and managing content in the children’s landscape? Are you interested in engaging children and families with authentic and targeted content? Do you always have a keen eye for detail, and a passion for the power of social platforms?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Executive for Ladybird & Puffin to join the Penguin Random House Children’s Marketing team on a 12-month fixed term basis. If you have audience-first experience and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the role for you!

The role

Working closely with the Brand Marketing Managers for Ladybird and Puffin, as well as the Heads of Marketing for Preschool and Primary, you will creatively showcase the breadth of our range of books, and ultimately drive sales.

Key responsibilities:

  • Facilitating a creative and engaging pipeline of content across all key online channels
  • Channel management across the Ladybird and Puffin socials including content creation, copy-writing, scheduling and posting
  • Analytics to include reporting content performance and recommendations to the wider Brand, Marketing & PR team and Children’s Division, and advising on best practice

What you’ll bring:

  • Passion for content and how it can drive community engagement and lead to strong sales
  • Good audience-engagement experience through social channel management
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Effective time and project management skills, including working across multiple projects
  • Broad market awareness within children’s media, brand and within marketing
