£50,000 – £65,000 basic + benefits

Our client is looking to take on an experienced System Safety Engineer who will play a large part in their UK Safety Team and help bring in Avionics & Power Products into the market.

What You\’ll Do:

1. Lead and perform system safety assessments across diverse projects (Hardware Safety Testing & Safety Testing on Software\’s running on Hardware components)
2. Conduct detailed safety analyses (e.g., Fault Tree Analysis, Common Mode Analysis)
3. Develop safety requirements to drive design improvements
4. Mentor and guide future talent in System Safety Engineering
5. Engage with senior stakeholders and promote a strong safety culture

What You\’ll Need:

1. Experience in aviation safety engineering with strong technical expertise
2. Knowledge of civil certification requirements (e.g., 14CFR-25, CS-25)
3. Familiarity with ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, and DEF STAN 00-56
4. Strong leadership and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves:

1. Knowledge of ARP 4754, DO-178B/C, and DO-254
2. Experience with reliability analysis, FMEA, and system compliance processes
