An international investment bank is looking for an IT Audit, AVP to start before the end of March. This role is ideal for someone with a strong IT general controls foundation and additional experience across infrastructure audits, application development audits, cybersecurity reviews, cloud risk assessments, and IT process reviews. You must be available within one month , able to travel to a London office, with a salary in the region of £65,000 – £75,000 .
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire IT audit lifecycle, from planning and fieldwork to drafting reports.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and risk management processes.
- Oversee fieldwork execution and report preparation, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement audit recommendations.
- Conduct ongoing risk monitoring of assigned areas.
Key Requirements:
- Strong IT Audit experience (5+ years)
- Experience in IT General Controls (ITGCs) as a foundation.
- Demonstrable experience in one or more specialized areas such as infrastructure audits (Windows, Unix, virtualization, firewalls), application development (SDLC, secure coding), cybersecurity reviews (vulnerability management, penetration testing), cloud risk assessments (Azure/AWS), or IT process reviews (ITIL/COBIT).
