Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Role Overview: As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of mechanical services projects, with a specific focus on plant room installations within the education sector and commercial office fit-outs. You will manage projects from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: * Manage multiple mechanical projects simultaneously, ranging in value from £100k to £1M. * Lead project teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination and communication. * Oversee all aspects of project planning, procurement, and delivery. * Ensure projects meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards. * Monitor and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. * Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. * Produce and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients. * Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery. * Ensure project documentation is maintained and up to date. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the MEP sector. * Strong background in delivering plant room projects for the education sector and office fit-outs. * Excellent knowledge of mechanical services, including HVAC, pipework, and plant systems. * Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders. * Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements. * Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. * Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across Kent and surrounding areas. Desirable: * HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. * SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification. * Membership in relevant professional bodies (CIBSE, IMECHE, etc.).
