IT Audit and Controls Analyst – Insurance

Hybrid working in the City of London – 3 days pw

Great opportunity to support the IT Department of this London Market insurer in their underwriting platforms and processes to achieve the financial, regulatory, and reputational standards required for the smooth running of operations.

As an IT Audit and Controls Analyst, you will have experience working in a rapidly changing IT environment and possess a talent for scrutinising records, analysing evidence, and collecting key metrics.

Reporting into the IT Audit and Controls Manager, you will:

1. Provide timely reporting of IT Audit and Compliance testing and status of deficiencies both externally and internally.
2. Co–ordinate with internal and external Auditors to deliver evidence for achieving and maintaining compliance and status on gap remediation.
3. Utilise your analytical skills to provide suggestions on how to improve processes and support process improvement implementation.
4. Assist with the co–ordination with stakeholders to conduct Audits within agreed timescales.
5. Ensure thorough analysis of control measures and standards conformance.

Experience Required:

1. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of initiative.
2. Able to work in a fast-changing IT environment.
3. Data extraction skills, analysis, and report production.
4. Able to utilise reporting tools, i.e., PowerBI and PowerPoint.
5. Ideally, an understanding of insurance platforms.
6. Knowledge of Incident, Change, Request, and Problem ITIL processes.
7. Experience of working with offshore providers.
