Part Time Production Accountant - TV

A multi-award-winning television Production company is looking for an experienced Part Time Production Accountant. This is an amazing opportunity to work 3 days per week has come about through success and several successful productions over the past years.

The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Processing and payment of invoices in the accounting system
2. Entry of internal recharges and WIP balances in the accounting system
3. Reconciliation of weekly/monthly cost reports to the accounting system
4. Preparation of month end production packs, including trial balance, cost manager, creditors report, bank reconciliation and quarterly VAT return for each production
5. Preparation of weekly / monthly production payroll
6. Regular liaison with respective Production Manager regarding ‘actuals’ and ‘costs to complete’ in cost manager, production payroll and under- and overspends against budget
7. Assisting in production close downs including closing bank accounts and transferring balances to the main ledgers, and generating a final cost report with accurate remaining ‘costs to complete’
8. Cash flow forecasting Finance Support
9. Assisting with record keeping – filing / archiving
10. Assisting with review and clear up of creditors ledgers
11. Assistance with bank reconciliations and clear up of un-cleared items
12. Reconciliation of petty cash
13. Assistance with banking, credit card reconciliations, assisting with production accruals clear up

The ideal candidate:

1. Previous production accounting experience is essential
2. Happy to work 3 days per week, 1 in the London office
3. Experience of Sage and Xero
4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
5. A good team player!
