The role of Finance Business Partner
The role of Finance Business Partner within our Telematics business unit is really important to us. You will be responsible for this high profile and key component of the customers experience with Radius, ensuring best in class performance, financial modelling, identification and implementation of value adding initiatives and customer communications.
Your responsibilities day to day will be…
- Own full KPI driven finance business partnering governance and cadence.
- Ability to gain trust and confidence of key stakeholders will be fundamental to success. This will include budgeting and forecasting processes, month end reporting and identifying opportunities and risks.
- Regular meetings with Senior stakeholders to review Sales, Stops, Sales to RGU and other trends.
- Work senior stakeholders to understand their business needs and influence critical value-added decisions.
- Ensure that key stakeholders can easily understand all reporting, inputs and insights, removing ambiguity and driving performance and accountability culture. Focus on fact based forward looking and action-based discussions.
- Feed the reporting and insights requirements into the Commercial Data and Insights team.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and automation in reporting.
- Create and deliver presentations outlining key findings, recommendations and actions.
- Manage stakeholders needs.
- Be commercially savvy and add valuable insights and challenge.
- Be familiar with what data is available and design reports.
- Give recommendations to the data team on what additional metrics or KPIs we need to see.
- Be able to create ad hoc reporting using data from Datawarehouse. Tableau experience a benefit.
- Understand trends and key movements to discuss with senior stakeholders.
- Need to be proactive and driven to deliver results.
- Organised and proactively manage own workload.
- Prepare content for and attend BU Trading reviews.
- Prepare content for and attend weekly BU meetings and drive challenge and agenda.
- Track all success measures, including efficiency within the team driven by automation initiatives and by elimination of non-value-added work.
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with PQE.
- Demonstrable track record of driving improvement and change in Finance and FP&A processes, leading and lagging KPIs, follow through of implementation of initiatives and tracking of success.
- Self-starter and confident.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with strong willed stakeholders, manage conflict and ambiguity at all levels and to influence change.
- Resourceful, tenacious and innovative.
