Trade Compliance Analyst – 12 Month FTC

Role Overview:

Leidos UK are looking for a Trade Compliance Analyst to join the team in a fantastic new opportunity. This role would initially be based on a 12 month fixed term contract (FTC). This role is critical to the success of our business at Leidos. You power our success, and we are committed to empowering yours. Responsibilities:

1. Provide specialist activities/facilitate all Trade Compliance (TC) related matters across Leidos, including:

1. Domestic shipments (Inbound and Outbound)
2. International Exports (Outbound)
3. International Imports (Inbound)
4. Carnets for hand carried goods
5. Export classification reviews
6. Procurement reviews
7. Denied Parties Screening
8. Travel approvals (review, decision and execute)
9. TC Training (design, deliver, communicate & execute)
10. Input into Governance (Policies, Processes, Workflows & Procedures)
11. Assurance (internal & external audits)
12. Manage our internals blogs and communications
13. Maintain our internal intranet pages
14. Maintain and update the databases/records of all UK and US export Authorisations for the business programmes/Functions
15. Support the input and gathering of TC Metrics/KPIs, as well as, metrics requested or beneficial to the Programmes/Functions
16. Support the Head of International Trade Compliance, as directed, with activities, including bid work and specific Programme or Functional demands and needs

Required Skills:

1. Proficient in Microsoft IT Software applications (including PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
2. Confident communicator

Clearance Requirements:

Clearance for Role SC. You must be a UK National (non-dual) for this role due to programme requirements.
