Role Overview We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Valuer to join our market leading Portfolio Valuations team based in London. The primary focus of the role is undertaking regular valuations on behalf of the major UK institutions, property companies, unitised funds and Life Companies. You will work across a diverse range of assets, have responsibility for a portfolio of clients, and play a key role in business development and the strategic growth of the team. Key Responsibilities Valuation of commercial property on a regular basis (typically monthly and quarterly). Inspecting client properties. Carrying out due diligence enquiries. Taking ownership and responsibility for a portfolio of properties. Reporting to clients and colleagues and keeping in regular contact with investment and agency teams. Attending regular meetings with clients. Contributing to discussion and debate on the market and implications for value. Develop and maintain active communication within the valuation team and with other teams in London and the regions. Key Skills MRICS qualified and competent in standard RICS Red Book valuations. High attention to detail, well organised and a good initiative level. Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills. Excellent communication skills. A team player with leadership potential. Strategic approach to problem solving. Highly motivated. An ability to utilise varying methods of valuation. Computer literate – you will be expected to be conversant with Excel, Word, Argus (Investor and Developer). Team Overview The team has significant representation in the UK, along with colleagues in place across the world. Over 400 RICS-registered valuers in the UK are joined by a 250-strong team across Europe and the Middle East and a further 275 specialists in Asia and Australasia. Our portfolio valuation experts are client-focused, providing valuation services specific to their needs, with our advice based on market evidence and trends.
