EPR Cerner Technical Support Implementation Lead
Are you an experienced IT project manager with a strong background in EPR implementations and end-user device support? Do you thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment, leading complex technical workstreams?
We are supporting an NHS organisation looking for an Cerner EPR User Service Support Implementation Lead to take ownership of the technical workstream for the implementation of an Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EPR system.
The Role
- Lead the development and delivery of the user support workstream to support the EPR programme.
- Ensure seamless integration and service transition within a large-scale digital transformation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior trust managers and clinicians, to ensure smooth implementation.
- Provide expert advice and manage project lifecycles, from inception to transition into business-as-usual (BAU).
- Oversee asset management, service improvement initiatives, and alignment with NHS best practices (Prince2, ITIL).
About You
- Proven experience managing EPR or large-scale IT infrastructure projects within the NHS or a healthcare provider.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management, end-user device deployment, and technical project delivery.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills – able to translate technical language for clinical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with ITIL, PRINCE2, or similar project management methodologies.
- Ability to lead teams, manage complex workstreams, and drive change in a fast-paced NHS environment.
Location – London
Rate – Band 8a / £37.22 per hour
Length – 3 months initially
