General Operative

Our Industrial Services team are recruiting a General Operative supporting the Painting team for various tasks for work in Portsmouth starting ASAP. Job Details: * Start Date: ASAP – be based on security clearance and site requirements. * Rate: Pay rate to individual £13.00ph basic * Duration: Ongoing * Working hours: Mon-Fri (Apply online only) (Overtime & Weekends will be required where needed so must be available in this) * Location: Portsmouth Duties can include but not limited to: * Towing confidence * Physically fit and able for general labouring duties, lifting and shifting (working within a warehouse environment at times but not limited to) * I.T. literate for use with basic Excel/Word/Emails and record keeping * Able to work under instructions to support the Warehouse Supervisor and on their own * Good understanding and practice of Health and Safety at work * Other general duties will be required where needed * Must be very fit and able, as the various labouring works can be physical (HSQ will apply) Qualifications Required: * Full Driving Licence (clean) – including category BE for towing Benefits: * Weekly pay * PPE Supplied * Local office with a dedicated account manager With this role you will have to undergo the following: * Drug and alcohol testing as part of induction * BPSS clearance for dockyard – This includes identity verification, employment history review, and a criminal record check
