Role: Locum MMT Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 5 Location: Birmingham Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £19 – £22 per hour The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 5 MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of £19-£22. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and the role is ongoing. Duties and Responsibilities: You will prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will manage medication therapy and ensure accurate medication distribution. You will provide patient counseling and education on medication use. You will maintain accurate records and manage inventory. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Qualifications and Experience: Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Act trained. Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.
