Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director on a part time basis to provide strategic oversight and guidance on our global marketing initiatives. You will act as a critical advisor to the board, leveraging your expertise to shape the company’s global marketing strategy and drive brand growth.
The role will be UK based with hybrid working and office attendance requirement. This role would be suitable for a professional with extensive marketing career experience, moving into a fractional or part-time work arrangement, 2-3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic input on global marketing strategies, branding, and customer engagement to align with the company’s goals.
- Offer insights on emerging market trends, digital marketing, and consumer behaviour.
- Act as a mentor to the marketing team, fostering leadership and best practices.
- Collaborate with regional teams to develop innovative local marketing plans and consolidate them into a coherent, effective global strategy to strengthen brand positioning.
- Oversee the company’s digital capabilities, including website, E-commerce and digital media.
- Guide performance measurement of marketing initiatives and ensure ROI optimization.
- Ensure marketing strategies align with the company’s vision, values, and compliance requirements.
- Review marketing budgets and advise on appropriateness to meet business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in senior marketing roles and strong grasp of business and marketing strategy, ideally at a board or advisory level.
- Expertise in international brand management, digital marketing, and market analytics.
- Strong understanding of consumer markets and trends, ideally within the pet industry.
- Ability to challenge and contribute to strategic decision-making with a collaborative approach.
