Role Description: The Field Engineer will be responsible for the design, commissioning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of wireless voice, video, and data networks. This role involves working directly with customers, ensuring the successful execution of field service operations, troubleshooting complex network issues, and providing technical support throughout the network lifecycle. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage projects, work independently in the field, and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement wireless voice, video, and data networks in alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Commission and deploy wireless network solutions, ensuring all systems are configured and tested to meet performance specifications.
  • Provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for wireless communication networks.
  • Manage and oversee field service operations, ensuring timely delivery and quality of services.
  • Collaborate with project teams to support the successful completion of network deployment projects.

  • Proven experience in the design, commissioning, deployment, and maintenance of wireless networks, particularly in radio communications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Previous experience in field service operations with a focus on wireless networks.
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • Relevant technical certifications or qualifications (e.g., CCNA, CWNP, or similar).
