Head of Finance

Hospitality, food retail and wellbeing portfolio

Central London

£70-80,000 salary plus bonus

Are you a finance professional with a background in hospitality, food retail and wellbeing? We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced finance professional to join a wonderful portfolio of companies.

In this key role, you will oversee the full finance function for this unique collection of brands, working closely with the Founders and senior stakeholders, whilst managing a small, talented team.

The role:

• Lead and mentor a team of two (Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable).
• Review monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and budgets.
• Handle payroll and review VAT returns.
• Manage the annual audit and prepare monthly finance packs.
• Circulate weekly flash P&Ls and closely monitor costs.
• Collaborate with Founders on ad hoc projects.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience/a background in hospitality, food retail and wellbeing.
• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, financial management, and due diligence.
• Proficient in Excel for building financial models and budgets.
• A self-starter with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• A hands-on and autonomous mindset and approach to work.
