Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Program Management, including the management of installations, projects, and programmes of work. This involves working collaboratively with the Capital Projects Director – UK and the Director of the Technical Centre of Excellence. Accountable for delivering programs in line with the companies and client expectations and SLA’s, ensuring quality, NSI and company operating procedures and standards are achieved within the budget and timescales., * Take complete ownership of all Commercial Management of the program performance, by monitoring progress, overseeing finance and ensuring contractual compliance and quality are monitored and reported and corrective measures are identified and implemented to ensure successful project completion.

  • Make strategic decisions and provide effective leadership and direction to the team to implement those decisions.

  • Provide technical, operational, financial and managerial leadership for successful implementation of program activities.

  • Meet with customers, stakeholders, Contract Managers and Project Managers to report on program progress and performance.

  • Liaising with senior customers, whilst building strong strategic partnerships.

  • Devising plans that align with the business strategic goals and monitor these plans to ensure viable commercial program delivery and completion, including managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage and managing customer service levels.

  • To keep up to date with appropriate Industry Standards (i.e., EN, BS, HTM) and BAFE/NSI Codes of Practice.

  • Conduct monthly reviews to ensure accountability of all project activities as well as the accurate and timely reporting of financial deliverables and obligations and to provide Management reports to the business as required.

  • To monitor activities to ensure that they are conducted in a controlled manner and in accordance with the company’s documented procedures and processes including any statutory and regulatory requirements that may apply.

  • To provide a point of escalation and support to all reporting staff.

  • Take ownership of all H&S site related management including ensuring that site and task RAMS are correct, implemented, reviewed and monitored.

  • Use KPI data to manage costs and take an active role to continuously improve efficiency and drive down costs.

  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the business strategic goals and objectives.

  • Support SMT members providing mentoring and guidance in delivering the SMT’s objectives.

  • Develop team members to be top performing members of the programs delivery team providing excellent customer service.

  • Provide a stimulating and rewarding team environment using the PDR and review

  • Responsible for active participation in NSI audits and HSE audits.

  • Responsible monitoring the completion of engineering audits and all compliance requirements and taking corrective action where necessary to minimise non-compliance and protect the business.

  • Performance against Engineering audit schedule

Essential

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills

  • Significant previous experience of working within the fire and Security industry and highly competent in fire, security & ICT systems technology

  • Excellent relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills, proven experience working in an agile and dynamic environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experienced in achieving SLA’s, identifying gaps against standards, and implementing improvement solutions

  • Focussed on performance targets and driving performance through utilising metrics

  • Proven ability in delivering in a fast paced project/construction environment

  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and achieve tight deadlines

  • Highly responsive and proactive, able to adapt to daily changes in workload and areas of focus

  • Excellent attention to detail and sound analytical skills

  • Experience of managing profit and loss reporting

  • Experience of resource and workforce planning

Desirable

  • Degree in business management or Management/Leadership Level 7 CMI /ILM or equivalent)

  • Senior Leadership experience

  • CRM experience
