Working as the Buyer / Procurement Officer / Sourcing Specialist you will join the Procurement Team and play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing goods to meet the demands of the business.

As the Buyer / Procurement Officer / Sourcing Specialist you will have strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices. You will also have strong negotiation skills., Your duties as the Buyer / Procurement Officer / Sourcing Specialist include:

• Source and select suppliers, ensuring optimal quality, delivery times, and cost-effectiveness

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favourable terms

• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, including purchase order creation and expediting

• Monitor supplier performance, identifying and resolving any issues

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenditure

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

• Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices

• Proven experience in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in procurement software and systems

• A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
