Chroma are currently recruiting for a Head of Technology to join a leading European technical product specialist who are going through an exciting tech and digital transformation. This role is offering up to £90K with hybrid working based out of their Wigan and Wythenshawe sites.

As the Head of Technology, your role will revolve around leading the technical design, implementation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure across the organisation. This role would suit someone coming from a technical architecture role or with experience leading the technological space in a SAAS company.
You will be managing a portfolio of projects across several IT disciplines including cloud computing, software development, infrastructure and DevOps, and data integration. You will be responsible for a team of direct reports with the opportunity to further expand the team.
The Head of Technology would be suitable for someone with some leadership experience under their belt who is capable of driving the team and wider company forward from a technical perspective. Their overarching strategy is to build a better overall user and customer experience, ecommerce strategy and technical platform to create greater alignment and efficiency across the business.
Essential experience:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Agile, DevOps, and continuous integration/deployment methodologies
- Experience designing and implementing IT strategy
- Working understanding of the SDLC
Desirable experience:
- Hands-on technical experience
- Experience working in a SAAS environment
- Experience in an engineering or B2B enterprise scale business
