Ready to become the strategic leader you’re destined to be?
You’re already shaping commercial strategy, developing key accounts and driving profitable growth. But now, you’re ready for a bigger challenge—one where you can make a real impact on a business coming through transformation.
Lead the way as the Head of Commercial at a leading food-to-go manufacturer, developing the commercial strategy whilst developing multi-million pound retail accounts to enable not only further growth for the business, but also your remit.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be given the vision, it’s about you setting the vision! Building strong relationships with some of the UK major retailers and leading a team across commercial, NPD and category management to deliver best-in-class products.
This will be a high impact role within the business, reporting directly to the MD. Combining this with the autonomy that you will have within the role, you will have all the tools to steer the business to success.
Being part of a small team will come with its unique challenges, however, it’s an opportunity to take all that you’ve learnt and really make a difference.
Albeit being situated locally would be great, however, if you aren’t on the doorstep, it’s not the end of the world as the business offers great hybrid working flexibility.
The Business
Nestled within the lovely Suffolk countryside, it couldn’t be in a more idyllic location! So, whether it’s in work or outside of work, you’re not going to be short of picturesque views.
The business already has a handful of the major retailers under their belt and have their sights set on growing this portfolio. An area you’ll be heavily involved within.
Coming through a transformative period, the business is now focused on growth, meaning there will never be a dull moment!
Here’s What You’ll Need
To be successful as the Head of Commercial, you need to be an established Senior Account Manager/Commercial Manager or above and have a strong background within own label, added value food manufacturing.
Building on this, you will also have established experience leading and developing multi-million accounts for UK major retailers.
Due to your direct reports, it will be good if you’ve got an understanding of NPD systems and processes.
