Job Description
To stay ambitious, we are building out a digital hub at the cultural & commercial heart of our group, our global HQ and distribution centre in Shirebrook. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and growing digital trading team working on established digital websites. Passionate about digital trading, this is a chance for someone who wants to develop and own digital trading strategy as well as the day-to-day trading and analysis of their website. Joining at a period of high performance and significant investment into digital, this is an amazing opportunity for someone to contribute to the growth and development of the performance of the Frasers Group Customer Team.
Reporting into a Trading Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales through commercial strategic planning and the successful execution of campaign, brand and promotional strategies. You will lead cross-functionally on trading projects that help drive sales and other digital KPIs. You will be a systems and tooling expert and will be responsible for ensuring the team are getting the most out of our platforms.
Accountable for managing the day-to-day trading and execution of a website, under the guidance of the Trading Manager. Manage reporting of daily/weekly/monthly/annual trade, providing detailed analysis of key business drivers and feeding into action plans to ensure sales and contribution targets are met. Oversee and report on the weekly content for site changes, campaigns, promotions and brand partner updates. End-to-end management of all critical paths for campaign and promotional activity, including awareness of upcoming activities. Ensure communication of product & trading strategies to all digital marketing and optimisation teams. Serve as super-user for all Digital Trading tooling - ensure all other team members are trained on and maximise usage of these tools and feed into roadmaps for tool improvements. Lead cross-functionally on Digital Trading projects as relevant. Collaborate with key stakeholders to coordinate development and execution of evergreen and seasonal content requirements to drive SEO, customer engagement and conversion. Manage process of improving product content, supporting teams to resolve any issues as quickly as possible to optimise sales.
People Management.
Demonstrate strong leadership and extensive people management skills. Set clear objectives, goals and development plans. Build an effective and motivated team, to work as more than a collection of individuals. Be an active and positive contributor to the team, contributing to the overall digital strategy. Represent the Digital Trading Team across the wider business, ensuring digital KPI's are understood and achievable for all.
Qualifications
- Valid working rights for the UK
- Analytical with strong reporting skills, advanced Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel user
- Experience in management of Trading Assistants
- Experience working within e-commerce platforms
- Experience driving both day-to-day improvements that contribute to sales growth
- Independent, self-motivated, and proactive
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar digital role in a retail or consumer brand
