Location: Work from home with travel to customer locations throughout the UK.

Job Outline: Our UK team based in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic Service Engineer with experience in the weighing and product inspection industry, including checkweighers, metal detection, and X-ray systems. The role is field-based and will serve contracts across the UK and occasionally Ireland. We operate primarily in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries; however, there are also clients from a broad spectrum of industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the UK Service Manager.
  • Responsible for ensuring that customers receive the level of service they have come to expect from a premium brand.
  • Capable of working alone or in a team to commission, calibrate, or repair the full range of our equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with inspection machinery such as checkweighers, X-ray, and metal detection.
  • Knowledge of the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Distinct communication and analytical skills.
  • Willing to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays as required.
  • Willing to join the rota for being on call out of hours to service our customers who require 24/7 response.
  • Software experience would be an advantage.
