Now one of the largest independent players in high-end luxury fragrance globally, our client has achieved exceptional performance over the last few years and has further ambitions to double in size over the next three years.
We are exclusively recruiting for a Product Innovation Manager, who will play a pivotal role in overseeing product reformulations, range extensions, packaging updates, and new product launches. Operating from the central London global headquarters, working closely with all internal teams, and reporting into the Global Senior Product Development Manager, this role ensures the alignment of all product development plans and projects for the business.
You will collaborate closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring that new products meet business objectives, consumer demand, and the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Product Innovation Manager will:
- Ensure operational excellence in managing and orchestrating the end-to-end product development process
- Build out timelines for all new product launches, working closely with operations, creative, sales, and marketing team colleagues
- Lead the monthly cross-functional team meeting to review status, communicate key milestones and deadlines, flag potential risks or delays, and escalate any issues to key stakeholders
- Support the operations team in weekly calls with vendors to identify any production issues, gaps, or delays that could impact product launch
- Ensure proper routing and approval of packaging artwork for production in close collaboration with creative colleagues
Essential experience:
- Degree qualification in Chemistry, Biology, or Cosmetic Science
- 4+ years’ hands-on experience in the technical development of innovative luxury fragrance or luxury cosmetic products, including formulation and packaging, from concept ideation, development, and briefing through to execution
- Sound technical capability in the assessment and validation of luxury fragrance and/or other cosmetic formulations
- Ability to quickly and effectively build relationships with people and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
