A newly created group has recently acquired two well-known Scottish food manufacturers. Both are long-established businesses that supply all major outlets. With a significant market share and the ambition to grow and develop naturally, they aim to become a household brand throughout the UK.
As an account executive across both brands, you will drive sales and profitability by securing new business and growing existing accounts. You will be at the forefront of market research, analysing trends, identifying customer needs, and proposing smart, tailored solutions. You will take the lead on outreach, networking, and converting warm leads into loyal, long-term clients.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Extensive experience in account management, preferably within the chilled foods sector
- Commercial acumen with retail, convenience, foodservice, and wholesale customers is a must
- Graduate-level qualifications
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent organisational skills
- Outstanding presentation abilities
- Superior knowledge of customer portals, systems, and operational processes
