Lincolnshire County Council’s Enterprise Team is seeking a dedicated Project Support Officer to join them on a permanent, full-time basis to provide critical support for delivery of the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub.
About the role
As a key part of the team, the Project Support Officer provides vital assistance to Project Officers across a range of economic development programmes and projects, valued between £50,000 and £1 million. Collaboration is at the heart of the role, ensuring schemes and services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Confidence with CRM systems is essential, as you’ll be assisting with data cleansing, development schedules, and planning. Strong organisational skills play a crucial role in document control, funding claim audits, and managing purchase order requisitions. Attention to detail is vital when updating the Business Lincolnshire website with fresh content, case studies, grant offers, and event details.
As Project Support Officer, you’ll monitor the team’s marketing resources and stock control. A proactive approach is needed to coordinate and attend events, board meetings, and international delegate visits. This includes managing meetings, preparing delegate packs, and ensuring feedback is collected and shared effectively.
Monitoring the corporate email account, responding to enquiries, and analysing newsletter bounce-backs to maintain accurate CRM distribution lists is also an important part of the role. Additionally, you’ll be overseeing a personal portfolio of economic regeneration projects, which will include handling procurement activities for new contracts.
About you
The role is very varied and will suit someone who enjoys lots of differing challenges. You will need to be enthusiastic, tenacious, and able to multitask when managing conflicting deadlines. You will possess excellent organisational and administrative skills, be able to self-prioritise, have exceptional attention to detail, be a confident and effective communicator, and be fully computer literate. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who enjoys supporting a team that manages multiple delivery functions.
It is essential that applicants have access to their own transport as occasional travel will be required.
