The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
In your role as Solutions Consultant, you will be working on simultaneously delivering internal projects, projects with vendors and projects with clients.
You will be responsible for being a key interface between the business of our clients (operations, proposition, CASS, etc) and the delivery team to deliver technically challenging projects that deliver value to our clients.
You will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of the common technology solutions used in the platform market, ability to understand and build target operating models across different business lines, and an understanding of commercial considerations of our projects. The ability to quickly understand what our clients want and deliver a solution that fits their needs is key. You must be able to split your time across clients as needed.
The ability to confidently lead, coach, and mentor is vital to your success. You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment in a primarily client-facing role.
Requirements
- Significant experience working in a structured project-based environment within a diverse range of business teams
- Structured analysis methodology
- Extensive prior experience with creating and integrating technology systems, ideally gained from a variety of different propositions and implementations of systems
- Self-motivation and a track record of working to a high personal and professional standard
- Ability to run multiple parallel activities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience of working on large and small programmes of business change
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment
- Able to confidently liaise with and guide external vendors and clients
- Able to understand, assist and liaise directly with technical teams from junior developer level up to Group Technical Architect and Chief Technology Officer level
- Seen as a trusted advisor
- Able to lead a team of Business Analysts as and when required
Key Accountability
- Applying a thorough and methodical approach to research and analysis to achieve a comprehensive and objective understanding of requirements, problems and opportunities
- Identifying and documenting potential solutions considering all available information and constraints
- Recommending and managing implementation of end-to-end solutions for all aspects of product lifecycle and/or customer interactions
- Review of requirements and solutions proposals produced by Business Analysts to ensure they are fit for purpose and deliver against tactical and strategic objectives
- Inputting into test strategy and supporting creation of test data and scripts
- Assisting with upgrade of skills of Business Analysts to better understand the technology solution
- Supporting teams within the business as required at any point of the change lifecycle
- Assisting clients with scoping and shaping of potential new projects and handing over to Analysis team as required
- Working across multiple projects simultaneously
- Leading and guiding partners and vendors with integration projects
- Providing solution design and suggestions into the proposition team
- Assisting Project Managers, Test Leads and others with creating collateral required for their roles as required
