Buildspace’s client are an established contractor who specialise in the construction and refurbishment of commercial and retail project work across the UK. They are looking for a Client-side Retail Project Manager to work nationwide managing projects for their most established client. Please note this is a 3 month contract starting on 27/07/2020. On top of your pay rate, your digs will be provided for as well as mileage, expenses, a company phone and a company laptop. Responsibilities: – Overseeing project work from client brief to delivery – Overseeing Building Control / Building Process. – Contract administration – Developing master programme – Client liaison – Design input and overseeing design changes on behalf of the client – Client walkarounds – Site visits / visiting client offices – Overall management of projects from inception to completion – Feasibility, planning, design, construction and post construction phases – Planning, programming and monitoring progress of
the projects – Preparation and presentation of technical and progress reports. – Managing / liaising with stakeholders / consultants and contractors – Appraisal of contractors’ work – Communication and meetings with clients and key stakeholders Experience required / candidate profile – Happy to travel to sites across the UK with visits to the company head office in Northampton. – CSCS Card – Project Manager Qualification – Previous experience as a Retail PM (Client Side) is essential If you suit the above criteria, please email your CV to Rob Glaser at Buildspace UK
