Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting various haematology and transfusion laboratory tests Assisting in the preparation and analysis of blood samples for diagnostic purposes Performing blood group testing, crossmatch, and other transfusion-related tests Maintaining high standards of laboratory procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance Supporting the development and implementation of quality control measures Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide the best patient care Requirements & Qualifications: To excel in this role, you’ll need: HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist IBMS Accredited Degree At least 1 – 2 years of experience in a Haematology laboratory, ideally with transfusion experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship) Working Hours & Contract Duration: The role requires availability from Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours per week, across a 24/7 rota.
