My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a CNC Machine Shop Operative to join their manufacturing team. As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines, turning, milling and drilling, used in the production of components and products. Main Duties * Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and products * Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Use precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances * Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards * Follow health and safety procedures at all times Candidate Requirements * At least 18 months of manufacturing/engineering CNC experience * Ability to use precision measuring instruments * Excellent attention to detail * Good communication skills * Ability to work as part of a team * Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Shift pattern Mon-Thurs 6am-4.30pm and Fri 6am-2.30pm, (48 hours) If you have the necessary experience and are looking for a new challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
