About the role
The focus of the Business Development Manager will be: strategic planning with the Head of Client Growth and CEO of TEC, sales management for the UK region, and prospecting for new clients to help grow the organization in the sports & live events sectors.

Must be based in UK;
Language requirements: Native English;
At least 10 years’ experience in Business Development roles, out of which at least 5 in the Sports/Live Events sector;
Strong business network in the UK region;
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a mid/large sized organization;
At least 4 years’ experience in software development companies and with responsibility to promote and sell various digital services and products
Responsibilities:
Strategic planning with the Head of Client Growth and CEO, sales management for the UK region, prospecting for new clients to help grow the organization mainly in sports & live events sectors;
Identifying opportunities in the UK region for the organization’s products and services;
Generating leads through cold calling prospective clients or networking;
Developing and nurturing relationships with key customer accounts;
Participating in Pitch presentations for prospects or existing clients in the UK region;
Supporting the sales team on various sales specific documentations and presentations;
Keeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of competitors;
Assessing client needs and the company’s ability to meet those needs;
Following up with new leads and referrals generated from the sales team;
Preparing status reports on goals and leads on weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
The Business Development Manager will report to the Head of Client Growth.
