We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants with experience in working with children and/or adults who can display challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will need to have a passion for supporting students’ mental health, and assist with creating a nurturing learning environment. The successful TA will be working closely with staff and students in order to effectively assist and guide students through any challenges they may have. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group support sessions for students, focusing on ces, emotionoping strategial regulation, and self-care techniques. Assist in the development and implementation of education plans for students with mental health concerns. Monitor students' progress and communicate effectively with teachers regarding this. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy and safeguarding laws and regulations. Support teacher in managing the behaviour and specialist needs of the young people. Qualifications: Team Teach trained, or willing to partake in a 2 day Team Teach training course. Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or mental health setting.
