Permanent Technical Account Manager required for Dungannon.
Job Purpose: Overseeing the Technical Customer Account base, with responsibility for safety and quality matters, relevant systems policies. Leading audits, complaints and generally being the customer point of contact in relevant queries.
Duties will include:
- Assist customers with technical requests and take care of any technical issues.
- Build strong customer relationships, especially with key customer stakeholders and sponsors.
- Always strive to provide exceptional customer experience.
- Manage customer expectations and lead them to customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all deliverables arrive in good order, on time, and fulfil customers' requirements.
- Keep track of key account metrics and customer COPs.
- Complete gap analysis on customer specifications and COPs to ensure adherence.
- Liaise with internal departments on expected cultural and ethical matters.
- Communicate the progress to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Take initiatives in identifying growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to achieve sustainable growth.
- Manage key interactions with customers and outside agencies/suppliers particularly with respect to the effective receipt, logging, investigation, reporting and trending of incoming customer complaints, defect reports and quality alerts or enquiries.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards are implemented, maintained and adhered to.
- Responsible for producing and amending internal factory specifications for each new product or updating changes to existing product specifications.
- Management of customer specifications web systems including sensory assessments for new products, preparation of attribute sheets and organisation of photography of visual standards.
- Champion industry best practices and promote the introduction of new technologies, where applicable.
- Ensure food safety legislation and guidelines as well as company policies are adhered to.
- To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and technical/quality regulations.
- To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.
- Ensure all work carried out complies with relevant health and safety and food safety standards.
- To have a duty of care to yourself and others.
- Ensure all necessary daily records and paperwork is completed in a timely manner as required by the company.
Must Have:
- Previous experience within Food Manufacturing in a Technical or Quality role.
- Access to a car due to client location.
