I am recruiting for a Merchandiser to join an apparel brand. You will be responsible for planning, forecasting and trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines
- Working closely with internal teams to improve product forecasting
- Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks
- Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock
- Collating figures and updating the senior management team regularly
- Working cross functionally with warehousing, shipping, finance & sales teams to optimise sales and margin, while ensuring high levels of professionalism are achieved
- Monitoring market & competitor activity
Key Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources
- Commercially aware and business focussed
- Able to manage & motivate your team to achieve both individual and team goals
- Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
